تشغل (العنونة) في الشعر موقعاُ وظيفياً لاستبصار بنية النص والاندماج معه وبه حتى تغدو أحد مستوياتها التركيبية الدلالية و"ن تتكلم" المجموعة التي نحن بصددها تقع في خانة العنوانات الاسمية التي لا تخلو من ترميز قصدي، يحث قارئه إلى فك ما استغلق منه، وأن يكشف خبيئه فنصوص الشاعرة ندى السريحي.. تتخذ معنىً استعارياً يحول اللفظة "الحرف" إلى علامة أو إشارة ترمز إلى الكائن الحي المتناقض في أفعاله وسلوكاته؛ إنها نموذج لاغتراب الإنسان في عصره تقول الشاعرة: نعد ألا نخون.. ونخون/ نعد ألا نخذل.. ونخذل.. ونخذل/ نعد ألا نبتعد.. زنبتعد/ حريَ بنا ألا نعد بأننا سننسى.. لأننا لن ننسى".
يقسم الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول يضم (87) مقطعاً شعرياً، والقسم الثاني بعنوان: وريد ويضم نصوص نثرية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "افق.."، "أفول"، "شيء من وجع"، "حاجة/ عوز.."، "أكيدة أنه الأول من نيسان.."، "الذروة لم تأت بعد..!"، "عند مفترق موعد وبكاء.."، "رمانة واحدة تكفي.."، مسبقة الدفع..".
