"ادعوني أستجب لكم" بهذه الآية المباركة التي تدل على رحمة الله الواسعة بعباده خاطب رب العزة خالقنا وخالق كل شيء في هذا الكون وراحمهم ورحيمهم البشر عامة يحثهم على التوجه إليه بالدعاء والتوسل ضامناً عز وجل لهم الإجابة.
ولذا، فمنذ أن وجد الإنسان على هذه الأرض تراه يرفع يديه إلى الباري عز وجل مالك الملك بالدعاء إليه، لدفع بلية، أو رد مظلمة، أو تفرج هم، أو توسعة في رزق، أو شفاء من مرض، فهو مالك خزائن الدنيا والأرض وهو الشافي الرزاق الوهاب المعطي المعين.
من كل هذه المنطلقات نرى الدعاء يحتل مكانه الواسع في قلوب وعقول المؤمنين من البشر، غير أن هناك الكثير من الأمور المتعلقة بالدعاء، ربنا يجهلها الكثير منا، مثلاً: فوائد الدعاء وآثاره، حدود الدعاء، آداب الدعاء، شرائط استجابة الدعاء، عوامل استجابة الدعاء.
