يُحِبُّ الأطفال أن يُمضيَ الأهلُ وقتاً معهم، "كَلِماتي المُصوَّرة: الطَّبيعة" وسيلة مُذهِلة لمُساعدتكم على تطوير لُغة أطفالِكم، يَحُثُّ هذا الكتابُ الطِّفلَ على الإهِتمام بعَناصِر الطَّبيعة من حوله، التي تُوضِّحها الصُّوَر المُعبِّرة وتَجعَلها تَنبِض بالحياة.
في مَرحلة أولى، يُمكِنكم تَسميةُ الصُّور بأسمائها وأنتم تُشيرون إليها، بعد ذلك، يُمكنِكم أن تَطلُبوا من طفلكم أن يُشيرَ إلى الصُّورة التي تُسَمّونَها أنتم، ثمَ دَعوه يُسمّي بنَفْسه الصُّوَرَ، كلّ واحدة بإسمِها، كُلُّما أرادَ ذلك؛ تَناقَشوا مع طفلكم مُستَعينينَ بالأسئلة البَسيطة الموجودة في كلّ صفحة، أو بأن تجعَلوه يُخبركم، في كلِّ مرّة، ما يَفعلُه الفأر الصَّغير فَرْفور.
بهذه الطريقة، سَيزدادُ تدريجيّاً مُستوى المُفردات عند الطِّفل، ممّا يُعطيه إمكانيّةَ التَّعبير الجيِّد عمّا يُريدُ قَولَه، وإمكانيّةَ فَهْمِ القِصص التي تَرويها له، ذلك يُسهِّلُ عليه فيما بعد، عندما يَتعلَّمُ القِراءة، فَهْمَ النُّصوص التي يَقرأُها.
