المنبر مرتقىً جليلُ المكانة في أفئدة المسلمين، لأنه مخصوصٌ بالهداة من أهل العلم والدين، ومنه يشعُّ نور التعليم والتوجيه والإرشاد إلى تعاليم الشريعة وآدابها. وكلّما كان الخطيب عارفاً بأحكام الشرع، منطوياً على الغيرة على دين الله، متَلَمّساً أحوال مجتمعه وأدواءه؛ كلما كانت قدرته على التغيير أكبر وكان أثره في هداية الناس أظهر. وهذه الخطب التي حوتْها دفّتا هذا الكتاب خُطَبٌ جُمَعية تناولت موضوعات متنوّعة، تلمس في معظمها ما أصاب المجتمعات الإسلامية المعاصرة من آفات، وتتخذ من أحداث السيرة النبوية وسِيَرِ الصّحابة ومَن بعدَهم من الصالحين زاداً لمعالجة تلك الآفات، كاشفة عن خطر الرذائل، مرغّبةً في تحصيل الفضائل. كما تتناول هذه الخطب بعض أحداث الساعة في وقتها، وتبيّن الوجهة الشرعية فيها. وتبحر في طيات التاريخ الإسلامي لتلقيَ الضوء علىٰ أحداث ذات عبرة، وفِرَق ومذاهب منها ما باد ومنها ما يزَال. وإنّ ممَّا يميّز هذه الخطب اتسامها بالغيرة على أمر الدّين، والجرأة في كلمة الحق، والرؤية الشرعية الصحيحة. ونأملُ أن يكون فهيا زادٌ للخطباء وفائدة لعموم القرّاء.
