كتاب "نكت الوزراء" هو من أندر المخطوطات العربية الأدبية التي جمعه فيها المؤلف "أبو المعالي الجاجرمي" أخبار مئة وزير من وزراء الدولة العربية الإسلامية ابتداءً من أشهر وزرائها عبد الحميد بن يحيى، وانتهاءً بأبو زراء. واحتوى الكتاب على أقوال توقيعات لعدد كبير من هؤلاء الوزراء، وكأن "الجاجرمي" أراد أن يكمل جانباً لم يلتفت إليه غيره ممن ألف في الوزارة. تكمن أهمية هذا الكتاب في أنه يلقي الأضواء على ثقافة الوزراء ولا سيما الأطراف من ساميين وسلاجقة، وبالتالي على وحدة الثقافة العربية في مركز الدولة وأطرافها.
وقد جاءت هذه المخطوطة مذيلة بتحقيق لطيف، تجلى ذلك في مقابلة نصوص المخطوطة مع ما يقابلها من المصادر الأخرى وذلك لإخراج النص إخراجاً صحيحاً ومقبولاً مع المحافظة قدر الإمكان على النص الأصلي.
