تضمّ المجالس المؤيدية التي يقدم المحقق "المائة الأولى" منها في هذا الكتاب تضمّ ثمانمائة مجلساً بثمان مجلدات، خصصها المؤيد في الدين الشيرازي داعي الدعاة الفاطمي لطبقة من الدعاة والعقلاء والمأذونين. وهي بما تضمنته فوق علوم الشريعة والظاهر والمدخل التمهيدي إلى علم الباطن والحقائق. ومن المعروف أن هذه المجالس التي كان يلقيها داعي الدعاة الشيرازي في دار العلم على شكل محاضرات، ثم يطرحها بعد ذلك للمناقشة والاستفسار قد طبقت شهرتها الآفاق.
والمواضيع التي عالجها في محاضراته هي مفهوم التوحيد عند الفاطميين، والإبداع، والوجود والموجودات، وترتيب العوالم السفلية والعلوية، والنطقاء، والوحي، وعالم الأمر، والمعاد، والبعث، والقيامة، والجنة والنار، وإثبات الوصاية، وماهية الإمامة، والتأييد، والإفادة والمفيد، والأدوار والأكوار، والمثل والممثول، والقيام بالقوة والقيام بالفعل، وكيفية أخذ العهد والمواثيق.
بالإضافة إلى الردود القصيرة على القائلين بالرجعة والتناسخ والتقمص، وعلى الحشوية والمعطلة والمعتزلة والصوفية، والغلاة من الشيعة والفلاسفة والملحدين، وغير ذلك من المواضيع الهامة. ولم يكتف بذلك بل أحلّ موضوع "التأويل" المقام الأول مقدماً التأويلات الوافية لبعض آي الذكر الحكيم بأسلوب رائع وبقالب من السهولة والبساطة ليستوعبها السامع وتنقش في ذاكرته إلى الأبد.
