(الإستقصاء وتدريس الرياضيات) كتاب تعليمي يهدف إلى إعادة النظر في المناهج والكتب المدرسية، وتعليم الرياضيات وتعلمها في المدراس، يحتوي على مداخل جديدة لتدريس الرياضيات وأهمها المنحى الإستقصائي الذي يعد أهم المناحي التي أفرزتها حركة المناهج الأمريكية الحديثة، لمواجهة الوضع القائم في المدارس التقليدية، والذي يقوم على التلقين والإخبار والإخبار والتركيز على حفظ الطلبة للمعلومات وعلى إستظهارها دون فهمها.

وعليه؛ يكون التدريس الإستقصائي نوعاً من الإستراتيجية التدريسية، أي طريقة ترتيب وإختيار الأساليب التدريسية بالنسبة للمعلم، ونتطلب من الطالب أن يستخدم عقله ليتوصل إلى ما يصبوا إليه، أي ينبغي له أن يمارس البحث بصورة عقلية نشطة بحثاً عن البيانات التي يتم جمعها من واقع خبرات الآخرين، أو من واقع الملاحظات أو التأملات بحيث يستخلص منها أفكاراً ومن ثم يجعل هذه المعلومات ذات معين...
