إنّها رواية سياسية من الطراز الرفيع، لا شيء هناك سوى السياسة، السياسة بمعناها الأكثر تدميراً، والحب بصوره الأكثر تشويهاً. لن يعثر القارئ في هذا النص المفتوح الدائريّ الأسلوب، الحلزونيّ الحركة على (قالت له.. أو.. قال لها..) وإنّما سوف يتقلّب مع هذه اللغة الجهنّمية الحارقة الفذّة ، المنبطحة.. المقعّرة الجارية كنهر مثقل بحجارة قاعه، وأوراق الهزيمة والحصار والحروب المتتالية، حروب العراق، تطفو كورقٍ سقط على صفحته.
إذا أردت أن أقدّم توصيفاً دقيقاً للرواية، أقول إنّها تشبه فيلم سينمائي مصوّر بعدسات مختلفة، مقرِّبة ومبعِّدة، حيث الشعر في صميم اللقطة، حيث المشهد يُغني عن السرد.
