واعمالها الروائية، هي "اللامتناهي-سيرة الآخر" (عام 1995) و"جدران الخيبة أعلى" (2002) و"تراتيل العدم" (2009) و"حبل سري" (2010) و"بنات البراري" (2011) و"طبول الحب" (2012) و"الراويات" و"نفق الوجود" (2014) و" مترو حلب" (2016).
فازت مها حسن بجائزة هيلمان/هامت الأميركية عام 2005، كما أنها وصلت إلى القائمة الطويلة لجائزة بوكر العربية مرتين (2011) و(2015) من خلال روايتيها "حبل سري" و"الراويات".
Book Description
"نفق الوجود" رواية في فلسفة الموت؛ فإذا كانت الحياة هي الوجه الأول للوجود، يجب أن يكون الموت هو الوجه الثاني الذي لم يتذوقه الأحياء بعد. هكذا حاولت الروائية "مها حسن" أن تطرح موضوعة الموت على طريقتها وبلغتها "أحلم بموت يأتيني هكذا: أودع أصدقائي، اصافحهم، أعانقهم بمرح، كأنني ذاهبة في سفر، يتمنون لي رحلة يعيدة. أضغط على زر، فأطير إلى هناك، برأفة تليق بنا كآدميين، دون ألم، أحط على الضفة الأخرى، ضفة اللاهناك، عابرة دون رعب، نفق الوجود".
وهكذا تتخذ الروائية من مجموعة من الأموات أبطالاً لعملها القصصي بسر، على الرغم من وعيه بذاته وبوظيفته يقترب من الكلام في الماورائيات أو فلنقل عالم الغيب، حيث يُستدخل كل شيء في النص ويُعاد ارتسامه في مخيلة الراوية / الكاتبة، فتتأرجح الوقائع على حافة الحياة؛ تروي حكاية الإنسان في رحلة حياته نحو الآخرة "ينفتح سرداب أسود ضيق، تنفتح حفرة تحتي، توصلني إلى السرداب الطويل، يبتلعني السواد، أصطدم بجثث مزروعة في جدران السرداب، أسمع أنيناً، يستمر هبوطي طويلاً، أهبط وأهبط وأهبط ... يدوم الهبوط دوماً لا يتوقف، ولا يصل إلى نقطة، كما لو أنه سرداب لانهائي، موصول باللامنتهي من الكون، الكون المنعدم هناك".
إنها رواية ممتعة، نعرف من خلالها أننا لسنا سوى مشروع جثة، ونهاية لا نعرف عنها شيئاً، وكما يقول الله تعالى في كتابه العزيز "ويسألونك عن الروح قل الروح من أمر ربي وما أوتيتم من العلم إلا قليلاً".
