يضم الكتاب سبعة قصص قصيرة جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أملاً كانت وتبقى أملاً .." ، "الحب المحرّم" ، "الموعد الأخير" ، "القلب المحروق" ، "سخرية القدر" ، "الحب الأعمى" ، "إنتقام على نار هادئة".
