عبد القادر بن عمر البغدادي
• علّامة بالأدب والتاريخ والأخبار.
• ولد وتأدب ببغداد. وأولع بالأسفار، فرحل إلى دمشق ومصر وأدرنة. وجمع مكتبة نفيسة. وتوفي في القاهرة.
• كان يتقن آداب التركية والفارسية.
أشهر كتبه
• «خزانة الأدب - ط» أربعة مجلدات، شرح به شواهد شرح الكافية للأستراباذي.

Book Description
هذا الكتاب في مضمونه (رسالة في معنى التلميذ) كتبها العلاّمة عبد القادر بن عمر البغدادي، ويقول فيها: وكان الباعث لهذا إني لما قرأت كتاب "مغنى اللبيب" ، ووصلت إلى قوله في الباب الخامس: "حكي لي أن بعض مشايخ الإقراء أعرب لتلميذ له بيت "المفصّل"، رأيت شارحه الفاضل إبراهيم بن الملا الحلبي، قال: التلميذ: القارىء على الشيخ، ولم أقف عليه في شيء من كتب اللغة المتداولة كـ "السحاح" و "القاموس" وغيرها.
لأجل ذلك بدأ المؤلف يتتبع معنى التلميذ في بطون الدفاتر من مصنفات الأوائل والأواخر، حتى رآه - كما يقول - في كتاب النبات، لأبي حنيفة الدينوري وفيه قال: "التلاميذ علماء الصُّنّاع" (...) وهكذا يتابع المؤلف عرض معنى التلميذ عند الشعراء والكتّاب ويستخلص منها معانٍ عديدة ينثرها في هذا الكتاب، ويختم بتفكيك معنى التلميذ وفقاً لما ورد في القواميس اللغوية العربية المعتبرة.
في هذا الكتاب كلماتٌ ذكرتها لمعنى التلميذ، فإني لم أجد هذه الكلمة مذكورة في كتب اللغة المتداوَلةِ المدوّنةِ الجليلَ والحقير، وذكر النقير والقطمير؛ كـ "الجمهرة" لابن دريد، و"الصحاح" للجوهري، و"المحكم" لابن سيده، و"العباب" للصاغاني، و"القاموس" لمجد الدين الفيروزأبادي، وغيرها، إلا في "لسان العرب" لابن مكرم، فإنه أورده في (مادة: تلمذ)، وقال: "التلاميذ: الخدم والأتباع، وأحدهم: تلميذ"، مع أنها كلمة متداولة بين العام والخاص، وكثيرة الإستعمال في تأليف العلماء الأعلام.
