لعلّها المرة الأولى التي يجمع فيها كتابٌ واحد العناصر التالية جميعاً: أولاً، نص الدستور اللبناني الحالي، أي نصه بعد التعديلات الكبيرة التي أدخلت عليه في 21 أيلول سنة 1990، تنفيذاً لما جاء في "وثيقة الوفاق الوطني" المشهورة أيضاً بإسم "إتفاق الطائف".
ثانياً: نبذة موجزة عن "تاريخ التطور الدستوري في لبنان".
ثالثاً: عرضاً للتعديلات السبعة التي طرأت على الدستور منذ سنة 1927، وحتى سنة 2005، وشرحاً للأسباب التي استدعت كل تعديل منها.
رابعاً: عرضاً للتعديلات الإستثنائية المؤقتة التي طرأت على الدستور منذ سنة 1943 وحتى سنة 2009، وشرحاً للأسباب التي دعت إليها، وللظروف التي جرت فيها.
خامساً: فهرساً لموادّ الدستور لتسهيل الرجوع إليها.
سادساً: رسماً بيانيّاً يمكّن المرء من أن يميز بسهولة وسرعة بين المواد الدستورية التي لم تعدَّل وتلك التي عُدِّلت، وأن يعرف عدد المرات التي تمّ فيها تعديل كل مادة وتاريخ كل تعديل.
