ورأيت أن يتضمن الكتاب مراحل النزاع كما شاهدتها ومحاولات السلام العديدة التي أهدرت...
وقد حاولت على قدر الإمكان، وعلى ضوء الممارسات الشخصية إيضاح المخاطر التي تهدد أمن الدول العربية، كما حاولت التذكير بأنه لا سبيل لدرء هذه المخاطر، إلا بالعودة إلى وحدة العمل العربي وفي ظل عمل منظم"...
