هذا الكتاب المسمى "الهداية والتربية الإيمانية" يحتوي على أسس العقيدة والإيمان اللذين لا بد منهما للإنسان، ولا بد أن يكون على دراية ومعرفة كاملين بشؤونهما وتعرف أدلتهما ولو باختصار ولذلك اعتمد المؤلف في التعريف بهما الأسلوب المبسط والميسر ليكون المؤمن على بصيرة من أمر هدايته وعقيدته وإيمانه ويدركها بوضوح ويسر وبشكل صحيح. وليحيط المؤلف بجميع جوانب موضوعه بوّب كتابه وفق ثلاثة أجزاء: تحدث في الأول عن العقائد مبينا أصول الدين، التوحيد وأركانه، العدل، النبوة، رسالة الإسلام، الإمامة، المعاد، سيرة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، أما في الثاني فتحدث عن بعض شؤون الأئمة الاثني عشر وعن المناهج التي تستفاد من كلماتهم في توجيههم للأمة ورعايتهم لها؛ كما وتضمن هذا الجزء إطلالة سريعة تضع القارئ في إطار المسؤوليات التي يعيشها أو يمارسها الأئمة عليهم السلام.
أما الجزء الثالث والأخير فخصصه لتقديم لمحات عن سيرة وأخلاق وعبادة الأئمة الاثني عشر عليهم السلام، وقد بدأ كتابه بالحديث عن الإمام علي عليه السلام، مبيناً نسبه الشريف، دوره في نشر الدين الإسلامي، مشاركته للحروب الإسلامية، أخلاقه، مناقبه، مكارمه، تواضعه، شجاعته، مهابته، سنته وآدابه، عدله، عبادته، بعض من حكمه ومواعظه. وبعد ذلك انتقل للحديث عن باقي الأئمة عليهم السلام.
