تعرض القرآن الكريم لمسألة المعرفة وأركانها، أي العلم والعالم والمعلوم، وتطرق أيضاً لشرائط المعرفة ووسائلها وأدواتها وموانعها وحجبها. وقد أشيد في كثير من الآيات إلى الحقائق الخارجية التي يمكن أن تقع معلوماً للإنسان، فعل: الله سبحانه وتعالى والسماوات والأرض والملائكة والوحي والغيب والشهادة والقيامة والبرزخ والدين والدنيا والجنة والنار والثواب والعقاب. وصرح القرآن الكريم في كثير من الآيات الأخرى بعدم واقعية وبطلان أوهام وخيالات عبدة الأصنام أو الأهداف التي يسعون وراءها، ومن الموضوعات الأخرى التي تناولها القرآن الكريم الإنسان وارتباطه بالخارج، والذي يحصل في طريق الحس والعقل والشهود القلبي، وكذلك تعرّض إلى موازين المعرفة الإنسانية، وذكر القرآن بالإضافة إلى التصديق بأركان المعرفة، أي المعلوم والعالم والمعلم، أنها من الله سبحانه بصفته الخالق لها، وكذلك بعنوان المعلم وواهب التعليم، والذي بتدبيره الربوبي يؤمن الارتباط بين العالم والعلم، وتعتبر هذه الأمور الآنفة الذكر مع بعض المسائل الأخرى من أصول المباحث القرآنية في المعرفة التي طرحها المؤلف في كتابه هذا وذلك ضمن عدة فصول، مبرهناً، من ثم، وفي مطاوي البحث التفصيلي على أبطال آراء المنكوبين.
