وولم تطر طيارة الورق رغم الريح النشطة... فجثم على ركبتيه العاريتين بثقل غير موزون حتى غاصتا في حصيرة الرمل الناعم... وشرعت أنامله تضبط توازن طائرة الورق.
تشد هذه الخيط وترخي الآخر... تختصر الذيل الطويل المجنح... تضغط على تقاطع زوايا أعواد القصب... يربطها بإحكام ويعاينها ببصره... وهكذا كان يراقب تصرفاته...
أما الرجل الضحية فكان عنه لاه... حيث يبدو أن البهجة كلها قد حطت رحالها في قلبه... وأنه مولع بحرفة يعشقها.
