حصلت هذه المجموعة على جائزة محمود درويش للشعراء الفلسطينيّين، التي منحتها لجنة (القدس عاصمة للثقافة العربيّة لعام 2009)، وشبكة الكتاب الفلسطينيّين.
"أرمل السكينة" هي المجموعة الثالثة لعريقات... تحتشد بالإشارات الإنسانية، وتمتاز بإلتقاط اليوميّ وإشتباك الخاصّ بالعامّ، إضافة إلى القدرة اللغويّة الّتي تدلّ على إتساع قاموس الشاعر، وقدرته على تشكيل الصور المتلاحقة في كلّ قصيدة من قصائد المجموعة التي تعدّ إضافة بارزة في الشعر الحديث.
ونقتبس نصاً من هذه القصائد المتنوعة: "هِيَ لحظَةٌ متوسِّلةٌ... تلك التي تقفُ بينَ الحقيبةِ، والباب... تلكَ المسافة التي أعطيتها، ظهري وأنا أدخِّنُ الغولواز، الذي لا تحبّ، مركولٌ بِقَدَرٍ هَبَطَ بمظلةٍ، بيننا، أحسُّ بإلتفاتتها وهي تستجيبُ، لسمفونيّةٍ يعزفها السائقُ، على زامورِه الطيّع، فتقفُ الإبتسامةُ كالصخرَةِ - حينَ أتبعها - بوجهِ إندلاعي... وإنطفائِها، على الدرجةِ قبلِ الأخيرة.
هيَ لحظةٌ... إلا أنها اختطفت سنواتنا العشرين بفستانٍ أبيضٍ، تركتنا نَهْبَ جُمَلٍ كسيحةٍ، كـ"سنّةِ الحياة" وغيرِها، أجلستني بقميصٍ أسوَدٍ، قربَ سكينتي كما لو أنني دفنتها للتوّ.
