هذه رسالة من رسائل شعب الإيمان (التوبة), كتبت بأسلوب مبسط ولغة سهلة, ليستفيد منها كل مؤمن ومؤمنة. فالتوبة باب الأبواب, يدخل منه الى جناب الرب تبارك وتعالى, فتحه الله للعباد, ولا يوصده حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها, فالسعيد من ولج, والشقي من نأى وابتعد. فقد قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: (إن الله عز وجل يبسط يده بالليل ليتوب مسيء النهار ويبسط يده بالنهار ليتوب مسيء الليل حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها). وكل بني آدم محتاج الى ولوج باب التوبة, لا يستغني عنه من حكم عليه بالعبودية. قال عز وجل آمراً عباده بها: ( وأن استغفروا ربكم ثم توبوا إليه يمتعكم متاعاً حسناً).
