هذه شعبة من شعب الإيمان تبحث في تحريم النفوس والجنايات عليها, جمعت من كتاب الله عز وجل وسنة نبيه المصطفى عليه الصلاة والسلام, قال تعالى: (ولا تقتلوا أنفسكم إن الله كان بكم رحيماً, ومن يفعل ذلك عدواناً وظلماً فسوف نصليه ناراً وكان ذلك على الله يسيراً). إن دين الإسلام دين السلام والمحبة والوئام, والمسلمون والمسلمات يعيشون في مجتمعهم إخوة متحابين وأخوات متحابات, لا ظلم ولا غش ولا خديعة ولا مكر ولا احتيال ولا احتقار ولا خذلان. فالمجتمع الإسلامي مجتمع مثالي راقٍ, لرجوع أفراده فيه الى الإسلام العظيم الذي يثقف العقول وينمي المعاني من جهة. ويقنن القوانين ويسن التشريعات للحياة المادية من جهة أخرى. ولانعدام الأخلاق والمعاني, وصل الأمر في المجتمعات الى كثرة القتل الذي أخبر عنه الصادق المصدوق صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا تقوم الساعة حتى يكثر الهرج, قالوا وما الهرج يا رسول الله؟ قال: القتل, القتل.
