(كيف هدمت الخلافة) هو كتاب دفاع عن الإسلام ورسوله والمؤمنين، يوضح من خلاله "عبد القديم زلوم" كيف تآمرت الدول الأوربية على الدولة الإسلامية منذ فجر التاريخ معتبراً أن الصراع بين المسلمين والكفار هو صراع دموي –فكري حتى قيام الساعة، أو حتى يرث الله الأرض ومن عليها.
وفي هذا السياق يتتبع المؤلف تاريخ الدولة الإسلامية، منذ صدر الإسلام ويؤرخ لمختلف المراحل التي مرت بها من نكبات وانتصارات، مروراً بالعهد العثماني، وحتى دخول الدول الأوربية التي أخذت تغتصب بلاد الإسلام قطعة قطعة، واختلاف هؤلاء على اقتسام بلاد المسلمين، سالكين عدة طرق وفي هذا يقول: "... فقد اثاروا في البلدان الأوربية النعرة القومية، والنزعة الاستقلالية، وحركوا أهل البلاد على الدولة الإسلامية، وأخذوا يمدونهم بالسلاح والمال للثورة عليها. كما حصل في بلاد الصرب واليونان، وحاولوا ضرب الدولة الإسلامية من الخلق، فقامت فرنسا بغزو مصر (...) ثم زحفت على فلسطين واحتلتها، وأرادت أن تحتل باقي الشام لتضرب الدولة ضربة قاضية، ولكنها هزمت بعد ذلك...".
أيضاً يتتبع الكتاب تاريخ (الغزو الثقافي) في بلاد الشام، ومحاولة إدخال الأحكام الدستورية الغربية، ووقوف الدولة العثمانية في عهد السلطان عبد الحميد في وجه القوانين الغربية، وكيف تآمر مصطفى كمال على الدولة وانسحابه من سوريا وتركها للانجليز، وتاريخ انكلترا في الشرق ومحاولتها احتلال استانبول، وصولاً إلى فصل السلطنة عن الخلافة. وأخيراً يوجه المؤلف دعوة المسلمين يقول فيها "... لهذا فإنا ندعو كل مسلم في وسط هذا الكفر المتحكم في بلاد الإسلام، لأن يعمل لإقامة الخلافة طريقة لتحويل بلاده إلى دار الإسلام، وتوحيدها مع غيرها من بلاد المسلمين (...) ابتغاء إظهار الإسلام..."
