عرفت الكاتب في ماضيه، وعايشت حاضره، فوجدت سخريته علامة مميزة في سلوكه ومزاحه، متستراً على وجعه وآهاته لينتج سلوكاً بنكهة خاصة في جلساته وطروحاته.. إنها السخرية من الخسارات القهرية، والأقدار المفاجئة التي تلتهم حواضرنا، سخرية من زمن مضى كالوهم، وحاضر بائس وثقيل كما الصخر، صديقي يحكي مالا نستطيع أن نحكيه، هو لسان حال جيل صمت من القهر وخسر في مقامرة غيره.
بهرتني سطوره في كتابه هذا، ببساطة الكلمات وعمق المعنى وجمال صورة الألم والقسوة...
