إنها محاولة في الحب المستحيل، الزمن فيها يبتلع كل شيء، يمتد متى يشاء، ويتتابع بخطى وائقة، ثم ينتفخ وأحياناً ينقسم إلى شرائح. يسأل (هو): "ماذا إذا التف الزمن على نفسه كالأفعى والتهمها؟ ماذا سيبقى منه؟ وهل ستختنق اللغة باختناق الزمن؟".
الحب هنا هو همسة خفيفة، وشوشة حزينة، فتسأل (سلاف): "أتكون أنفاسك أغلى مني؟"، وربما لن يستطيع (هو) الإجابة عن سؤالها في هذا الزمن العنكبوتي، زمن الاختناقات، حيث يحزم على الصدر، أثناء هرسه بالأقدام الحاقدة، أن يصدر صوت حشرجة خفيف. لكن (هو) بصيغ حكمة ما تقول: "يا أخوتي، يا من نتنفس معاً في هذا الكون الجميل، تعالوا لنمنح الأرض الحياة، تعالوا لنقذف طمعنا خارج صدورنا ورؤوسنا، ونزرع الحب في كل ذرة من خلايا الكون، دعونا نفكر بانتصارنا، لأن الخير لن يتحقق، ما دام هناك طفل حزين، أو رجل يفكر بانتصاره على أخيه، أو امرأة تقتل لأنها تحب. النصر لنا جميعاً، حين نشارك معاً بالبناء، وتصبح القلوب قلباً واحداً، ينبض بانسجام مع لحن الطبيعة الخالد، تعالوا نتعلم الخلود، فليس صعباً علينا أن نكتب خلودنا بماء الحب".
