يشكل كتاب "الثورة الإيرانية في ميزان الإسلام" لمؤلفه الشيخ محمد منظور نعماني حلقة في سلسلة الجهاد والدفاع عن العقيدة الخالصة في مواجهة من يريد الإساءة لدولة الإسلام التي تمخضت عن التعاليم النبوية وعن التربية المحمدية التي شرَّف بها المسلمون في عصر النبوة وكانت أعمالهم تشهد لهم، متسائلاً لماذا العقيدة تدهورت إلى حد خطير، ولماذا ظهرت تفسيرات وعقائد خاطئة تصور دولة الإسلام على هوى قادتها والمقصود هنا الثورة الإيرانية وما حملته كتب الإمام الخميني من أفكار في حق الإمامة والأئمة "تلك الأفكار التي تصل بالأئمة ال مقام الألوهية، وتثبت أفضليتهم على الأنبياء والرسل والملائكة وأن الكائنات في مرحلتها التكوينية تابعة لهم خاضعة لسيطرتهم". وبغض النظر عن صحة أو خطأ هذه الطروحات والأفكار سيجد القارئ لهذا الكتاب كيف بيّن مؤلف هذا الكتاب العقيدة الإسلامية الصحيحة، عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة في مقابل عقيدة الشيعة الإمامية، فبدأ بدراسة تاريخ الشيعة منذ بدايته، ووقف على أكثر مصادرهم الأساسية المعتمدة، والتي ظلت بعيدة عن أنظار علماء السنة ولا سيما كتاب "فصل الخطاب في إثبات تحريف كتاب رب الأرباب" لنوري الطبرسي، ثم كتاب "كشف الأسرار" للعلامة الخميني.
وبناءً على ما تقدم يمكن اعتبار هذا الكتاب بحثاً قيماً وسنداً تاريخياً له قيمته عن المذهب الشيعي، ومرآة لعقائدها ومسلماتها، وفيه خلاصة نتائج وصل إليها مؤلفه تتضمن نقداً علمياً تحليلياً لعقائدها، مع موازنتها بالكتاب والسنة والتاريخ المعتمد، وكذلك تأثيراتها على العقائد الإسلامية، كما عرض بصفة أساسية لمسألة الإمامة من خلال كتب الشيعة.
