"إذا كان العام الماضي عاماً مليئاً بالحروب وأعمال الشغب والخسائر المالية، فسوف يكون عام 2004 أفضل نوعاً ما وعلى الرغم من الأجواء المتلبدة التي تظهر معظم أشهر السنة. سوف يمر العام بسلام لكنّ هذا لا يعني أن المواجهات السياسية العالمية لن تنتهز الفرصة لاستعراض عضلاتها ولحبّس النبض بين الحين والآخر. وإذا كان مرض السارس الذي شغل العالم بأسره في وضع آمن ومضبوط عالمياً، فهو سيظهر مرّات عديدة في حالات استثنائية حيث يجري العمل على حصره ومعالجته. كما أن احتمال ظهور أراض أخرى مرتفع جداً هذا العام. كما سيكون هناك، في المقابل، اكتشافات علمية مهمّة لا سيّما في المجالين الطبّي والعلاجي. أما السبب الرئيسي لهذه الأوضاع فهو استقرار كوكب أورانس في برج الحوت. وهو سيثير هذا العام تغييرات كبيرة على الصعيد الثقافي والديني. فقد تظهر مجموعات دينية متشددة أو قد تختفي مجموعات أخرى. كما تبرز الخلافات بين مجموعات دولية حول المبادئ والمعتقدات. وبشكل عام ستكون هذه السنة حافلة بلقاءات واجتماعات عالمية حيث تدور المفاوضات بشكل واضح وعلني وستظهر تكتلات عاميلة جديدة".
بهذه الرؤية لخصت "كارمن قديح شماس" توقعاتها لسنة 2004 متوقعة مرور هذه السنة بسلام على العالم. ومتأملة حدوث كسوف فعليّ للشمس ناتج عن مرور الزهرة بين الشمس والأرض. أما توقعاتها لك برج فتوسعت في الحديث معطية لكل برج حقه من الشرح والتحليل، كاشفة عن ما يخبأه الفلك من توقعات لمواليد كل برج من الأبراج ومتحدثة وبالتفصيل عن التأثيرات الفلكية الشهرية لكل مولود. وهذا ليس كل شيء بل في الكتاب أيضاً كشف عن التوقعات العالمية وعن الجرائم التي يمكن ان يحدث في العالم وعن العنف والإرهاب العالمي، وعن الأعاصير والانهيارات وأماكن حدوثها وعن الحرائق والتحركات العسكرية التي ترافق العلاقات السياسية.
