Book Description
مؤلف هذا الكتاب هو "يوسف بن عبد الهادي الصالحي، جمال الدين" والمعروف بابن المبرد، ولد في دمشق سنة 840هـ، وتوفي سنة 909هـ، أي أنه عاش قرابة سبعين سنة هجرية. كان من فقهاء الحنابلة المعروفين بصالحية دمشق، وعالماً في عدد من العلوم. عاش في دمشق حين كانت بلاد الشام تابعة لحكم مماليك مصر الجراكسة. ويبدو أنه لم يتصل بأحد منهم، اشتهر ابن المبرد من عدد من العلوم، وألق فيها كتباً ورسائل جاءت بين السفر الكامل، والكتاب الناقص، والرسالة، والورقات. وأغلبها من التراجم العامة والتراجم الخاصة.
والكتاب الذي بين أيدينا يأتي ضمن مؤلفات ابن المبرد، وهو عبارة عن فصل من كتاب "نزهة المسافر في أخبار مجنون بني عامر"، يضم كل أخبار ليلي الأخيلية، وأخبار محبوبها توبة، وقصة حبهما. إلا أنه لم يضم كل أشعارها. ورغبة من المحقق "محمد التونجي" في أن يجمع في هذا الكتاب كل ما قالته ليلى الأخيلية، فقد اعتنى بإلحاق المتن الذي وقع بين يديه من "نزهة المسامر" والمتعلق بليلى الأخيلية بملحقين: الأول: جمع فيه ما سقط من أبيات من داخل شواهد أخبارها في المخطوطة. وعدة الأبيات الساقطة عشرة. الثاني: ما لم يرد قط في المخطوطة المتن، ومصدره في هذه الإضافات ديوان جمعه خليل العطية وجليل العطية بصفة خاصة.
