في حياة آل بورينا، طفا على السطح، الرفض والتمرد والخروج عن الصمت، والأدهى إرتكاب الخطيئة، فأنتيك حلّت عليه اللعنة وطُرِدَ من المجتمع، فكّر بالرحيل، وأيضاً بالإنتقام، هانكا زوجة أنتيك مع طفليها راحت معاناتها تتعاظم جراء البؤس والفقر، فتحملت بمرارة.
راح أنتيك يترصٌّدِ أباه كي يقتله وحين واتته اللحظة المرجوة فاجأته صرخة إستغاثة أبيه جراء ضربة صاعقة على رأسه تلقاها من آخر.
وهنا أصاب أنتيك الزهول، بل الجنون وانقلب في الإتجاه الآخر مثل وحش ضار وانقض على خصم أبيه ورفعه بين يديه وراح يدقه في الأرض حتى أخمد أنفاسه.
ولما فتح بورينا عينيه، حدّق طويلاً إلى وجه أنتيك، وكأنه لا يصدق نفسه، فأنارت موجة من الفرح العميق، والهادئ ملامح وجهه، وهمس بجهد بالغ: "هذا أنت، يا بني؟....؟".
وغاب عن الوعي من جديد، ومن جديد اختلطت الأمور ودخلت البلدة في المأساة...
