في سبيل بيان هذه القضية، قضية خلاص البشرية وقيام نظام الحقّ والعدالة، من مختلف جوانبها؛ كان هذا الكتاب الذي يبحث، أولاً، في فكرة المهدي المنتظر - المخلص في الفكرين، الديني والوضعي، وثانياً في تحديد هوية المخلص وهو، كما يفيد البحث، الإمام المهدي عليه السلام، وثالثاً، في ولادة الإمام المهدي عليه السلام وحياته، ورابعاً في الظروف التي تهيئ للظهور - الثورة، وخامساً في شرائط قيام الإمام، وسادساً في ظهوره وإقامة دولته.
