كما فعل ماجلان وطاف حول العالم ليثبت كروية الأرض.. يطوف بنا المؤلف (احمد محمد الشنوانى) فى هذه السلسة -التى نقدم للجزء العاشر منها- حول اعمال فكرية وأدبية وعملية وفلسفية وغيرها مما جادت به عقول خلدها التاريخ.. ليقتطف من كل العصور والقارات نقاط فاصلة فى الفكر الإنساني. وفى هذا الجزء العاشر نجده -المؤلف- يحدثنا عن أسطورة الخلق تلك الأسطورة البابلية الآتية من قبل الميلاد بثلاثة ألاف عام. ويذكر لنا وصايا (بتاح حوتب).. وصايا مصرية قديمة عاشتا على أوراق البردى لتبين مدى التحضر في الحضارة المصرية القديمة. نجد أيضاً فى الكتاب ذكر عن (هسيودوس) أول شاعر يونانى إستعمل ضمير المتكلم. ثم الانتقال إلى حضارة الصين مع دستور الفضيلة لـ (لاؤ - تزى) الذى كتب وسجل فيه آراءه على هيئة حكم وعظات، ويلية تأملات أوريليوس الإمبراطور الفيلسوف وصحفة لم يذكرها التاريخ كثيراً. أما فى علم الفلك فنجد (البتانى) مقدماً أول جدول فلكن صحيح ودقيق ولا ينسى المؤلف أن يذكر بعض عباقرة المسلمين فأورد (إبن الهيثم) وكتابة المناظر، (الزهراوى) الطيب العربي الجراح. وفى عودة إلى الغرب والعصور القريبة نجد (ماجلان) ورحلته ثم أخيراً (جون ديون) وفلسفة القرن العشرين.
