الروضة هي أفضل مكان لتعليم الأطفال وتربيتهم قبل دخولهم المرحلة الابتدائية.فهي المكان الأفضل لإعدادهم وإعطائهم الفرصة المناسبة للتعريف إلى أجواء المدرسة. فإن الأباء والأمهات الذين أرسلوا أولادهم إلى الروضة، أو المراكز التمهيدية، لا يواجهون مشكل عند ذهابكم إلى المدرسة. فضلاً عن أن أطفالهم سيكونون مهيئين أكثر في تقبل الدروس، لأن أذهانهم قد أعدّت الإعداد المناسب في الروضة سابقاً. كما أنهم قد جرّبوا الحياة خارج جدران المنزل، ولذا لا يخافون العيش بعيداً عنه. بل يعتبرون المدرسة بيتهم الثاني والمفضل أحياناً.
الروضة هي المكان الأول الذي يعيش فيه الطفل خارج البيت، يقضي بعض الساعات بعيداً عن الأسرة وأحضان الأم، ليعيش تجربة جديدة في حياته. تكون هذه التجربة لدى الطفل في الأيام الأولى غامضة ومليئة بالمخاوف والأوهام، وقد يعبّر عن هذا الإحساس بالبكاء ورفضه دخول الروضة في بداية الأمر. ولكن إذا تعرف الطفل إلى أجواء الروضة، سيتحول هذا المكان الغامض والمريب في ذهنه غل مكان جميل ومحبب إلى قلبه.
هذا الكتاب الصغير، هو خير عون لكم لتعرفوا الأطفال إلى الروضة، وأجواء اللعب والمرح والتعليم فيها، وليعيشوا اليوم الأول لدخولها، يوماً يفيض بالفرح والمرح والسرور.
