بين يدينا، المجموعة الشعرية الأولى للصحافي والشاعر السوري "بشير البكر" المقيم في باريس منذ عشرين سنة وهو من شعراء جيل السبعينات، الذين طوروا في قصيدة النثر في سوريا إلى جانب أسماء آخرين، وديوانه "قناديل لرصيف أوروبي" وهو باكورة أعماله، أتبعه بكتاب شعري آخر بعد 18 سنة من صدور هذا الديوان، وهو بعنوان "أرض الآخرين".
يضم هذا الكتاب بين دفتيه ستة قصائد، تطغى عليها ثيمة الوطن والغياب عنه، ليتسكع حبة من وطن لآخر فمن سوريا إلى بيروت ومن بيروت إلى أوروبا، يعيش الشاعر مشاعر الحنين وألم الفراق، حيث يقول: "متسكعٌ حُبُّنا من وطن لآخر... لا متسع فيه للغياب... فكلما وضعتك أمامي... تنفرد روحي بعويل طويل... كالذي أحاق بيوليوس قيصر لحظة المهزلة... وليس لي شجر دافئ لأخفيك عن نفسي... أنت من يتحدثُ شعرها للمواسم... آسيا الخارجة من أصابع الفلاّحين إلى هواء الأفق... مجدولة بملايين الجراح...".
نذكر عناوين قصائد هذا الديوان: "نوفمبر الرمادي"، "مقابر لشتاءات الحبّ"، "مِنْ"، "موت في عدن"، "زوار الكلام"، "قناديل لرصيف أوروبي".
