وفي هذا العمل جمل شعرية مختزلة، شديدة الكثافة، خفيفة الظل تنساب إلى القارىء دون عناء، ما يؤشر على موهبة شعرية متكاملة اكتسبت ميزتها من غناها بالرموز والإشارات التي تحمل حنين الشاعرة إلى الوطن والأهل، والأرض التي ولدت فيها ...
تقول الشاعرة عن عملها هذا "مزيج جميل من المشاعر الإنسانية التي تجتاح أي فرد فينا من حنين وشوق إلى جانب تضمنها عدة قصائد وطنية في لبنان تعبر عن التمسك بالأرض والحنين إليها".
وفي ]أرجوان الشاطىء[ تقول:
أرجوان الشاطىء وقت الغروب ... ، يضيع فيه شراع سفينتي ... ، ويرتجف أفقه لرهبة الأفول ... ، ووعد من الحبيب يلح عليّ بذهول ... ، بأنه يبقى مهما تكاثفت الذنوب ... ، لكن الوعي تلاشى في الفضاء ... ، وأفل مثل رهبة ذاك الأفول ... ، (...) ، رانت به الذكرى على شاطىء الهوى ... ، واضمحل شوقاً وبكى ألماً ... ، وغاب الحبيب وبقي وحده يبكي النوى ... ، أرجوان الشاطىء ... وقت الغروب ...".
