كان - رحمه الله - ينادي شعبه دائماً ويحثه على الكفاح والثورة ضد الظلم والفساد والإستبداد... وربما حتى يومنا هذا ما زالت أصداءُ صوته تتردد عبر السنين تحثنا وتحضنا على أن لا نقبل بالظلم أو طغيان.
هل يجوز لنا أن نقول إن "أبا القاسم" كان هبه من الله بموهبته الشعرية الثائرة والحالمة لوطنه "تونس" أم لوطنه الكبير "الوطن العربي كله"؟...
