ان التوكل على الله سبحانه و تعالى من اعظم منازل العبودية ، ومن اجل مقامات التوحيد .. وهو - كما قال الامام احمد - عمل القلب ،فبه تكون سكينته ،و يتحقق خضوعه للحق جل جلاله ،و يتجلى تفويضه الامور كلها لخالقها العالم بمالاتها.من هنا ؛كان الحض النبوي على صلاة الاستخارة ، ليستشرف العبد من خلالها معاني التوكل،فهي تعني الاعتماد على الله عزوجل ،و حسن الظن به ،و استسلام القلب له ،و تفويض الامر اليه ،و الرضا بقدره ،و اللجوء اليه بالدعاء الذي هو العبادة .و لاهمية صلاة الاستخارة التي تحقق المعاني الجليلة السالف ذكرها ،و لاننا نعيش سنوات خدّاعات تذر الحلم حيرانا ،و تلجىء العبد الى استخارة ربه عزوجل ؛ كان من الواجب بيان الاحكام و الاداب التعلقة بصلاة الاستخارة ، مع التنبيه على الاخطاء الواقعة فيها . باسلوب يسير تفهمه العقول ، و برسالة صغيرة سهلة المنال.
