اللغة وحدها هي التي تؤسس في حقيقتها مفهوم الذات، ذلك إن الذاتية هي قدرة المتكلم على تقديم نفسه بوصفها ذاتاً ناطقة، معبرة، ومؤثرة في الواقع الإجتماعي ، هكذا نطق بنفنيست، وهكذا عمل إبن حزم الأندلسي، فقد عبر هذا المفكر في عصر متماوج بالأحداث والأفكار عن ذاته وفكره المستقل، مستخدماً اللغة أداة يفكر بها، ووسيلة يفهم بها الخطاب، ورؤية ينطلق في آفاقها الرحبة، مستكشفاً الدلالة النصية بكل إيحاءاتها وسلطتها التأثيرية، باذلاً الوسع في تحليل الخطاب الديني من منطلقات ظاهرية مغايرة للسائد، المعروف والمتداول؛ فأنشأ مدرسة فكرية في الغرب الإسلامي تركت آثاراً بارزة في الحضارة الإسلامية، من حيث بلورتها لرؤية واقعية، وتصور للعالم يختلف عن تصور مفكري ذلك الزمان، معتمداً منطوق اللغة، وصريح العبارة، وحجة الدليل البيّن الذي لا لُبس فيه، رافضاً التأويل المفتوح، والعليل وقياس الشاهد على الغائب والفحوى، وكل نسق مضمر لا يحتكم للغة البيّنة والدلالة الواضحة، وما ذاك إلا رد على تمادي بعض الطوائف، وتجاوزها على النصوص متأولة معاني لم تقلها صراحة، فكان من نتائجها حالة الإضطراب الفكري والإجتماعي والأخلاقي.
إن هذه الدراسة تستقطر المنهج البياني الأكثر موضوعية في فهم النصوص لاعتماده كفايات ثلاث، كفاية الوصف القائم على مدرك اللغة والحس وبداهة العقول، وكفاية التفسير القائمة على البرهان العقلي العام الذي لا يختلف فيه عاقلان، وكفاية تداولية تثمّن النص، وتجعله مقنعاً ومنتجاً للحضارة، مغيراً للحال من الضياع والفرقة إلى التوحد والقوة. إنها ثورة على فكر الطوائف!!
