Book Description
"فارس من نابل" رواية موجهة للناشئة استخدم خلالها "دياب عيد" تقنية الواقعية السحرية التي تنتمي إلى المتخيل الغرائبي أكثر مما تنتمي إلى عالم الواقع. فأحداثها تدور في فضاء فوق واقعي حيث يجد القارئ لها أنه في رحلة إلى زمن الآلهة والملوك والعبيد ليكتشف لغزاً هو وبطلها الشاب "أوكين" الذي تقصد أباه "أتول" مرافقته إلى "نينوى" أعجب الشاب بالبداية بقصور المدينة الشاهقة وتاهت عيناه بين البوابات الضخمة لقصر ملك آشور. ولكن ما أقلق "أوكين" الشاب ذلك العبوس على وجه أبيه حين دنا من تمثال الملك آشور. لكن الذي فاجأه أكثر حين رأى أباه ينحرف باتجاه التمثال المكسور وعليه بعض السلاسل والحبال وحتى يزيل الشك من رأسه اقترب من التمثال وبدأ يقرأ ما دوَنه الملك الآشوري "سنحريب": حاصرت المدينة التي كانت تسعى للتخلص من سطوتي وجبروتي، واستوليت على بابل، وأشعلت فيها النار حتى دمرتها تدميراً، وقتلت كل أهلها..."؟!
تهدف الرواية إلى أن يتعرف الجيل الناشئ إلى تاريخ بابل القديم وما جرى على نينوى من أحداث حيث نهبت وسبيت نساؤها وأسر رجالها حتى تماثيل الآلهة كسرت وتم جرها وسحبها على طرقات نينوى. وكيف ترجل بنوخذ نصر ودخل قصر ملك آشور السفاح وانتصر عليه "تلك سَنة الدول وشريعة المنتصرين، يقول الكاتب...
