الكتاب هو الثاني الذي يتناول فيه الكاتب نقد الشر المحض وذلك بغاية البحث عن شخصية مفهومية للعالم تضع الفكر في إطار معرفي جديد والموضوع الذي يدور حوله البحث هو في كيفية الوصول إلى حادثة الفكر مبرّأة عن جهازها المعياري. فكأنما العالم، كما يراه الباحث، يولد اليوم جديداً وبريئاً، ويرفض الجلوس حتى على الحطام من أنظمة التحقيب المعرفي التي اغتصبته مراراً وتكراراً، وهنا تبرز الحاجة ملحةً إلى شخصية مفهومية للعالم الجديد وتبقى هذه في دائرة تساؤلات وطروحات الباحث الذي يهدف من خلال دراسته على العثور على ماهية فكر يسترد لحظة اندهاشه بمولد العالم كل فجر بدلاً من تأبيد المآتم وسط عوالم هالكة بائرة، باحثاً عن أفاهيم عابرة لشخصية مفهومية عن عالم، لا تتم هي أبداً، ولا يكف هو عن النقصان. فذلك وحده قد ينقل العالم من استبدادية استراتيجية التسمية، إلى تسمية استراتيجيات لا تنتهي أسماؤها أبداً.
إنه البحث عن فكر يجيء بنظامه بعد انهيار صيغة نظام الأنظمة المعرفية كما ابتكرها العقل، وكانت تجسدت عبر مغامرته الكبرى في إنتاج "المشروع الثقافي الغربي" وقيادته حتى خاتمته المظفرة بالكمال والنهاية معاً.
