نشأت في بيت وضيع، فتطلعت إلى كل مكان رفيع ولم يكن لها العدة غير جمال بارع وطموح دافع وحسن شافع. مما لبثت أن دعاها داعي الصبا إلى اللهو واللعب فلهت ولعبت ثم سقطت، إذا كانت هذه المرأة في تقلبها من حال إلى حال، وتنقلها من يد إلى يد، تتمشى في أنحاء المجتمع وتتعافل في إجتنائه، متزينا فعل النفس الإمارة بالسوء في الروح المطمئن لها على قوة شكيمته، وفي العاشق المتسلم لها مع صدق مودته.
