والديوان يحوي بعض قصائد الغزل العفيف الرقيق، التي نظن أنه نظمها في ريعان شبابه، وقصائد رثاء وتقدير وذكرى ايام جميلة مع بعض أصدقاء عمره من الشعراء والأدباء أو القادة، الذي أعجب بهم وافتقدهم.
إن وصف هذا الديوان لا يغني عن ثراءته، ففيه جمال العشق، وصدق الوفاء.
