والإمام النسفي هو عبد الله بن محمود أبو البركات حافظ الدين النسفي وهو من أهل إيذاج من كور أصبهان، كان رحمه الله إماماً كاملاً عديم النظر في زمانه رأساً في الفقه والأصول بارعاً في الحديث ومعانيه، ومتفقهاً بالدين وأوصله، ومتنه، "كنز الدقائق" هو من أهم المصنفات التي دونها في الفقه وأصوله.
