ومن فوائد وخصائص الصلاة أنها نداء، نداء إلى كل الناس بكل ما تحويه الصلاة من معان، ونداء إلى الناس بما يستفيدونه من خلال الصلاة خصوصا الجمعة والجماعة.
ومن بين الصلوات التي تحمل الإهتمام الأكبر والأقوى، صلاة الجمعة، فهي النداء الأكبر الذي ينتظره الناس في كل أسبوع، فصلاة الجمعة وأهميتها في إجتماع المسلمين مع بعضهم، فالمسلمون يجتمعون في صلاة الجمعة، من كلّ أسبوع ويكون في ذلك فرصة لهم للتعارف والتكافل وتفقد أحوالهم.
أهميّة صلاة الجمعة لإشتمالها على خطبة الجمعة؛ حيث توجيه المسلمين ونصيحتهم وتذكيرهم بالرّجوع إلى طريق الله المستقيم دائماً، وليس ذلك فحسب بل تكمن أهمية صلاة الجمعة بإعتبارها نداء لمعالجة كثير من القضايا، كالقضايا الأخلاقية والإنحرافات السلوكية التي تنتشر في المجتمع، وتفتح الآفاق على الصور الناصعة والحقيقية للإسلام والتي تبرزه كدين أخلاقي صالح لكل زمان ومكان، وتثير الأحداث السياسية المرتبطة بالأمة وبواقعها وما تحتاج إليه الامة من تماسك وتآزر وشد بعضها بعضاً...
