أيُّ بحرٍ مِنْ لَطَائِفِ الأُنْسِ والبركاتِ الجليلة تَسْبَحُ الروحُ فيه؟! بلْ أيُّ روضٍ مِعْطارٍ عابِقٍ بنَفَحات خيرِ الورى صلى الله عليه وسلم يتشرَّفُ المَرْءُ بالتعطُّرِ بِشَذَا عبيرهِ الفَوَّاح، الفواح شوقاً وحبّاً وشَغَفاً بخيرِ الخلقِ، وحبيبِ الحقِّ، سيّدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم؟! يا لها مِنْ بركاتٍ تُشدُّ إلى نسيم أخبارها الرِّحال، وتُضْرَبُ إلى عَذْبِ مواردها أكبادُ الإبل!!...
لاَ تكادُ تُقَلِّبُ صحيفةً وتَفْرُغُ مِن النظر فيها إلا ويُسَابِقُكَ الشوقُ إلى أختها، بل لا تكاد تفرُغُ مِنْ سَطْرٍ إلا سَبَقَ فؤادُكَ ناظِرَيْك إلى السَّطرِ الذي يليه، كالأُمِّ الوَلهى تبحثُ عن فِلْذَةِ كَبِدها هنا وهناك...
سِفْرٌ وأنتَ بين تَضَاعِيفهِ كأنَّكَ في المدينة المنورة، تَتَنَقَّلُ بينَ رِحَابها وشِعَابها، وسُهُولها وجبالها، ومساجدها وبيوتها، وأحيائها وأَزِقَّتِها، كأنَّ روحَكَ بينَ نخيلها، فَظِلالِ مآذنِها، وكأنَّها تَتَنَسَّمُ آثارَ الحبيب صلى الله عليه وسلم، في قُبَاء والعقيق، وأُحُدٍ والبقيع، والرَّوْضَةِ الفَيْحَاء، والقُبَّةِ الخضراء، والحجرةِ الشريفة، والمواجهة الغرَّاءِ المُنِيْفَة، وكأنَّكَ تَقِفُ حيثُ وقفَ ابنُ عمر، وبكى بلال، ودَعَا العباس، ومالكُ بنُ أنس، وتواجَدَ السّيّدُ أحمدُ الرفاعيّ، وغيرهم من الأكابر رضي الله عنهم.
