هناك، في ذاك الزّقاق الضّيق، عاشت "ماريكّا اسيبريدون"، جثة امرأة للبيع، قبل أن تراودها مدافع الحرب اللبنانيّة عن نفسها للموت في مكان آخر، بعيد من جنون النار التي التهمت جسد "بيروت"، ومن فنون القتل على الهُويّة التي حصدت الأعناق ذبحاً وتنكيلاً وسحلاً.
هناك اصطادت "البترونة" في شارع "المتنبّي" بنات الهوى طرائد شريدة يتناوب عليهنّ أكلة لحوم النسوة بوجبات جنسيّة سريعة، بحماية قانونيّة ووقاية طبيّة.
هناك جمعت تلك "اليونانيّة الشرّيرة" ثروتها من لهاث كلاب مسعورة تتهافت على ما بقي من عظام حاملات ما يبحث عنه الجياع إلى الجنس والمتخمون به.
إلى هناك، إلى ذاك الحيّ الموبوء دخلت "ماريكّا اسيبريدون" عاهرة فقيرة، ومن هناك من ذاك الزّقاق المِصيدة، خرجت تائبة غنيّة، لتصير "ماريكّا المجدليّة".
