إنطلاقاً من كون فكر وكتابات كمال جنبلاط صحوة إجتماعية فاعلة، ورسالة معرفية متكاملة، وتراثاً إنسانياً شاملاً. ينظر كاتبها إلى خدمة المجتمع الإنساني بعين العالم المتجرد، والمرشد الصادق، والمفكر المسؤول، فكان لا بد أن يخوض معارك كثيرة ومتنوعة على جميع الجبهات وخصوصاً عبر وسائل الإعلام.
يتضمن هذا الكتاب مجموع مقابلات أجريت مع كمال جنبلاط أثارت حولها العديد من النقاشات، وذلك عندما كان وزيراً للداخلية في ستينيات القرن المنصرم.
العنوان الأول (لأجل حضارة حقيقية) وهي مقابلة أجرتها إفلين مسعود مع كمال جنبلاط في مجلة La Revu du Liban في 8/2/1964 تعريب وجيه البعيني. يتركز موضوع المقابلة على المعركة التي خاضها جنبلاط "ضد الستريوهات والمراقص والكباريهات والإنحلال الأخلاقي" وفيها اعتبر جنبلاط " ... أن كل حضارة قامت كي تتيح بروز ميول الإنسانية النفعية. وكل حضارة لا يكون هدفها الغائي تطور الإنسان الأخلاقي والروحي ليست بحضارة ...".
العنوان الثاني (كمال جنبلاط أبحث عن الحقيقة) وهي مقابلة أجرتها معه L’Orient – Le Jour تعريب وجيه البعيني وتتركز حول فكرة السياسي انطلاقاً من خصوصية تطور المجتمع اللبناني القائم على الفكر الطائفي الذي اعتبره جنبلاط عبء على المؤسسات والأفراد، معتبراً أن "الليبرالية الجديدة" تشجع على التنافس، لكنها لا تساعد تطور النمو الإجتماعي.
العنوان الثالث (مقابلة مع كمال جنبلاط أجرتها معه ليلى رستم في المختارة "أثناء برنامج مع الماضي سنة 1969" وتتضمن أسئلة وأجوبة عن نشأة جنبلاط منذ الطفولة وصولاً إلى بلوغه مرحلة الكمال الروحي والعقلي المثلى وتأثره بالفلسفة الهندية والتيارات الفكرية السائدة آنذاك ... إضافة إلى موضوعات خاصة حميمية تطرقت إليها المقابلة.
