إن قراءة ( القدس ) و (أورشليم) , في الخطاب الشعري العربي والعبري المقارن , في أشد تصوراتهما عمقاً, تعني المضي في لحظات القلق والخوف والغرابة والبحث الصعب, حيث يتجاور موقفان تاريخيان وعقائديان وثقافيان وسياسيان متناقضان ومستقلان يقطنان المكان ذاته. وقراءة (القدس) و (أورشليم) تحديداً هي سيرورة من اكتشاف قد يبلغ حد فقدان البوصلة وفقدان التوجه ومحاولة السيطرة على التقسيمات الموثوق بها مثل : "الذات" و "الموضوع" , "الإرادة" و"الحقيقة" ,"القوة" و"السياسة" .
ف(القدس), لدى العربي الفلسطيني, هي ذاكرة تاريخ وحق لن يموت, وهي ضرب من تذكر موجع للخطة التاريخية الحاسمة (1967). وهي كذلك إفصاح عن عصيان كل أشكال النفي لتاريخ الفلسطيني ووجوده وذلك عبر المقاومة بشتى صورها. أمّا (أورشليم) فهي مسألة سياسية محض تختزلها مقولة رئيس وزراء "إسرائيل" بنيامين نتنياهو , (عليكم ألا تثقوا في مساعدة الغرباء , وألا تثقوا في الكرماء , وألا تتوقعوا أن الأحجار ستلين ]... [وعلى الشعب , الذي يريد أن تكون قامته منتصبة, أن يضع ثقته في نفسه فقط). إنها مقولة تثير تساؤلات جوهرية حول المكان "أورشليم" عن انبثاقه متى وكيف ؟؟ عن الزمان في حركته وهل يرجع للوراء ؟؟ وعن نسيج التاريخ وتعاقبه , والشعب عن ماهيته وتشكله .
إن قراءة (القدس) (1967) هي تأمل مستمر للجهد الشعري العربي عند الشاعر محمود درويش وعبد الرحيم محمود وسميح القاسم وخالد محادين وحيدر محمود وتميم البرغوثي والبياتي ومحمد الفيتوري . أما (أورشليم) في الشعر العبري فلها حضور شعري لافت للقصائد وزخم كبير في دواوين الشاعر يهودا عميحاي تحديداً , وبصورة أقل عند شعراء آخرين مثل حاييم جوري , وأهارون شيبتاي, وآجي مشعول . لذا فمفردة (القدس) و (أورشليم) في الشعر ستشكلان في هذه الدراسة نقطة انطلاق هدفها إعادة التقاط "الذات" في النص الشعري لدى الطرفين وتمحيصها في إطار مرجعيات الخطاب ومصادرها المتنوعة .
