ذهب المفسرون في تفسير القرآن الكريم مذاهب شتى فظهرت تفسيرات عديدة ومصنفات كثيرة اختلف أصحابها في تفسير بعض السور والآيات.. ولعل الآيات الكريمة من سورة البقرة التي يبحث فيها هذا الكتاب هي إحدى الآيات التي اختلف المفسرون في فهم مضامينها وتدبر معانيها ومن وجهة نظر الكاتب فإن هذه الآيات تمثل مرتكزاً أساسياً لفهم مجمل السنة الإلهية المقدسة في الخلق ومراده منه.
وقد رأى الكاتب بطلان رأي من يقول في تفسير الآية المباركة "إني جاعل في الأرض خليفة"، إن المقصود بها خلافة الإنسان في الأرض لمن كان قبله من الجن الذين أفسدوا في الأرض وسفكوا الدماء، وخلافة بني الإنسان بعضهم لبعض. وهو يقيم الدليل على بطلان هذين الوجهين لأن الخلافة المنصوص عليها في الآية المباركة هي خلافة من نص عليه سبحانه بها لله.
فلم يكن المقصود خلافة بني الإنسان للجن الذين كانوا قبلهم، إنما الأسماء التي علمها الله لآدم فهي كما يرى المؤلف معروضين في الآية الكريمة من حيث انطباق الدلائل الصفتية وهم المعرضون مع الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم والامتداد الطبيعي له بهدف تعميم السلطة المحمدية التي ظهرت في زمن معين وأرض معينة لتشمل أرض الله جميعاً، ويستنتج المؤلف أن (هؤلاء) المعروضين هم (أهل البيت).
