في هذا العمل يشرح الشيخ "أنور المشايخي" كتاب (منبع أصول الحكمة) للشيخ الإمام أبي العباس أحمد بن علي البوني. وهو كتاب في العلوم الروحانية يوضح من خلاله المؤلف أسرار أسمائه تعالى وفوائد آيات القرآن الكريم وطريقة قراءتها واستخدامها والفائدة منها في حلَ مشاكل المسلم المعاصر. وأسماه "الفيلم الفوار لما في منبع أصول الحكمة من الأسرار" وهو ما يحتاج إليه كل تلميذ وحكيم، وقد رتبها على أبواب ومقالات وفصول متتبعاً في ذلك ترتيب الأعمال من الحكماء الأقدمين وهي: في الكلام على الأصل في علم الحروف، في اختيار الأوقات والكلام على الكواكب ومعادنها وحروفها، في وصايا الحكماء لأولادهم وتلاميذهم، في شروط الخلوة والتلاوة المناسبة للوفق بين الناس. وعلى هذا ينقسم الكتاب إلى أربعة أقسام(1) الأصول والضوابط، (2) بغية المشتاق، (3) شرح البرهتية (المعروف بشرح العهد القديم)، (4) شرح الجاجلوتية الكبرى.
