ولن يتحقق طموح الإبداع في الفلسفة العربية إلا إذا انصت الفيلسوف العربي إلى دقات قلب مجاله التداولي الخاص، فينشئ فلسفة متميّزة ومعبرة بصدق عن القضايا والإشكالات السائدة في حال الثقافة العربية الإسلامية، وحاملة للقيم والحقائق التي تختلج في وجدان وعقل الإنسان العربي والمسلم.
ولهذا فعقم الفلسفة العربية يأتيها من تبعية أهلها وخضوعهم لما يوجد عند الغير، وهو ما يجعلهم يدورون في فلك الإشكالات والمناهج السائدة في المجال التداولي الفلسفي الغربي، ولا يتمكنون من إبداع فلسفة أصيلة ومتناسبة مع الخصائص والمقومات المحلية للذات العربية الإسلامية.
ولهذا السبب، نجد طه يخاطب المتفلسفة العرب، بكثير من الأسى والحسرة قائلاً "ألم يأن للذين أحيوا الفلسفة بقلوب غير قلوبهم أن يتبينوا أن حبهم لها إن لم يصب عقولهم بالسُّقم، أصابها بالعقم! فمتى إذن نفكر بالقلوب التي لنا وليست لغيرنا حتى نرى العقول التي فينا تبدع من أجلنا ومن أجل الناس جميعاً فلسفة سليمة لا سقم في أساسها ومنتجة لا عقم في أفقها".
