لا يرتبط حزب حديث بمؤسسة مثلما يرتبط الحزب السوري القومي الإجتماعي بأنطون سعادة (1904- 1949) المفكر والزعيم والقائد، وفي هذا الكتاب يستعرض الكاتب (مفهوم الحزب عند سعادة) ورأيه في ذلك: يقول: "تشكل نظرة سعادة للحزب في المنحى التاريخي تطوراً علمياً هائلاً –في الشمول، المضمون والغاية- فالحزب عند سعادة مرتبط بنظرته الفلسفية إلى الوجود (الإنسان- المجتمع والمدرحية) ولذلك فهو وجودي- يعني بالمجتمع، في شتى حالاته المادية- النفسية من تقهقريته إلى تقدمه وتطوره- تجدده، يعني بالواقع الإجتماعي- الإقتصادي- النفسي، لا يركض وراء السراب، ولا يركض وراء المصالح الفردية الأنية. أنه "الأمة مصغرة": "إذا قلنا أن الأمة هي الحزب السوري القومي الإجتماعي، وان الحزب السوري القومي الإجتماعي هو الأمة، لم نقل إلا الحقيقة الحرفية المجردة" أنه حركة الشعب ودولته المستقلة الثابتة...".
