العقيدة القومية الإجتماعية التي أرادها مؤسس النهضة وزعيم الحزب عقيدة موحدة جامعة، نراها اليوم مشرذمة بين ثلاث مؤسسات متباعدة.
والحقيقة المرّة هي أنّ المؤسسات الحزبية المنقسمة على ذاتها عانت في الوقت نفسه تشظيات داخلية معقدة بحيث يمكننا القول إن العقود الأربعة الماضية شهدت صراعات مريرة بين القوميين الإجتماعية أنفسهم لم تقتصر على التأويلات الفكرية والإجتهادات السياسية.
إن مظاهر هذا التشرذم ليست جديدة على الحزب السوري القومي الإجتماعي، كما أنها ليست وليدة الصراعات السياسية والمطامح الشخصية فقط، بل هي تعود في قسم كبير منها إلى خلل في فهم طبيعة الحزب الذي أراده مؤسسه أن يكون حركة الشعب العامة، وأن تكون غايته الأساسية بعث نهضة قومية إجتماعية شاملة.
هذه الدراسة موجهة أساساً إلى الذين اعتنقوا الفكر القومي الإجتماعي، سواء داخل المؤسسات الثلاثة أو خارجها، فإنها محاولة تريد أن تستعيد المفاهيم التي نمت في ذهن سعاده وهو يعمل من أجل أن لا يكون القبر هو المصير المحتوم للأمة السورية.
