"رباعيّات" بدرية الملاك تقبع ضمن سيناريو جديد يحاول تأسيس رؤية فنية من زاوية جديدة لتحقيق غاية أكبر وفائدة أكثر على مستويي البنية والموضوع في النص الشعري، من ذلك قصيدة (أنا حواء) التي تستدعي فيها الشاعرة شخصية (حواء) في سياق شعري جديد يرتفع إلى مستوى الرمز حينما تحاول أن تصل إلى رؤية نهائية للعلاقة الأزلية بين آدم وحواء، أو بين الذات / الشاعرة والآخر / الرجل. تقول الشاعرة: "أنا حوّاء تلك التي / خاطرت معكَ وأكلت مليون تفاحة / لأهبط فيك / معك / حتى فقدت الجنة / أنا حوّاء ، فكن لي آدم الذي / ما فرّط بها حتى بعد أن / قام هابيل وقابيل يقتتلان / كن آدم وقل للحب : كُنْ، فيُكَنَّى (...) ". وبهذا المعنى يبدو حضور المرأة / الشاعرة فاعلاً في النص من خلال تحقيق اثره في عالم الشعر وإحساسها العميق بنصفها الآخر، وقد عبرت عن ذلك كله بلغة شفافة مؤثثة بالأناقة والبحث عن مكامن الجمال، وصور مشحونة بطاقة متوقدة، تنقلنا من صورة إلى أخرى، هي مزيج من الذاكرة والحلم.
يضم الكتاب عدداً من القصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "فصل الحب" ، "حمامة شريدة" ، "للمرة العشرين" ، "أنا حوّاء" ، "وحيدة" ، "فصل الذات" ، "أين أسافر؟" ، "لا شيء ينصفني" (...) وقصائد أخرى.
